My name is Ester Loserian Laizer. I am a 14 year old Masai girl from the bush of Engikaret, Tanzania. I live in a very dry area where there is little water so we go through droughts. Faces for Hope found me when I was small and started me in a good primary school, where I got to learn English. I just finished my primary school years and passed my exam well, and a now heading to high school. But, I just lost my sponsor, and need another one to be able to continue. I will try my hardest and do well. I hope to continue my education so I do not have to get married and because I want to do something with my life other than take care of goats. Please help me continue my schooling.
Bless you,
Ester
My name is Janeth Karaine. I am a 12 year old Maasai girl from the bush of Engikaret, Tanzania. My family is very poor. My father is against education, but my mother begged for me to go to school. I was able to go to a good Primary school, until I lost my sponsor. If my father found out that I did not have a sponsor anymore, he would sell me. In my culture, if a girl my age is not in school, she must get married. I do not want to get married. I want to continue in school.
Thank you and Bless you, Janeth

They do not have enough to send us to school, though both are supportive.
